About Prayze Entertainment Group
Prayze Entertainment Group is a full service entertainment company and has arms in management, record production, live event production, a record label, promotion, and more! We have years of industry experience, and are run by R. Michael Thomas, President/CEO and Founder. We got our start in 1997, and have been going strong since then. We strive ministry with quality, and pair the two to achieve great things.
R. Michael Thomas has been a visionary for as long as he can remember. He worked tirelessly in his youth with various business ventures and entreprenurial out-branchings until the Lord gave him the vision and know-how to start Prayze Gospel Music. As time progressed, our President gained more knowledge and insight, and also received the call to expand, hence the growth of Prayze Productions. Soon, all of his ministries had to be grouped under Prayze Entertainment Group, which is what most see now. R. Michael Thomas has worked with and sang with some of the biggest gospel artists of our decade, which include in some capacity: John P. Kee, Karen Clark-Sheard, S.O.U.L., Trin-i-Tee 5:7, and more. With his degree in Music Industry from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, and with his contacts near and far, R. Michael is sure to take Prayze Entertainment Group to higher heights and greater plateaus!

Prayze3 Management provides the following duties for its signed acts:
Provide counseling for general music industry standards and practices
Record label contracts, advertising, merchandising, etc.Provide assistance to artist for major career decisions
Record contracts/companies, publishing deals, royalties, advancesAssist the artist with the creative process
Selecting producers, deciding on songs to record/promote, hiring band members, selecting photographers, etc.First line of contact to outside world

Assembling and heading the artists' professional team of lawyers, business managers, agents, and overseeing this teamPrayze3 Management sits down with its artists, and creates a 2-3 year "gameplan" that states the artists professional goals, how to achieve the goals, the attack plan to complete this, and a step-by-step evaluation process to make sure these goals are being met and complete successfully.
This list is highly subject to change and is not comprehensive. It also varies greatly from artist to artist, depending on the amount of management needed.
Prayze Productions was started in 1997, by kicking off with its first event. Prayze Productions brought the group SOUL, which was then signed to Hendrix Records. To a crowd of almost 300 people, Prayze Productions started it first of many successful events in the Portland/Seattle corridor.
Shortly after that, Prayze Productions did a few other successful events, including a showcase in Seattle, WA at the West Coast Gospel Announcers Guild 2000 Convention, showcasing Prayze Gospel Music artists and affiliates. Also being produced that year was our "Gospel Divas of the New Millennium", our most successful event to date. Receiving news coverage, press coverage, and having over 300+ people in attendance at that event, cemented Prayze Productions in the minds of the local and regional gospel community as being a company that puts on and promotes quality gospel music events.

Vision Statement
Prayze Gospel Music strives to sign not only the artists that can sing, but the ones that can also minister and have successful ministries of their own. We strive to inform and teach the public about the goodness of God and the rich history of music in general, and specifically Gospel music. We strive to promote Christian values in all our endeavors. We strive to help all the saints of God all over the world to fulfill the Great Commission that was set out by God to his disciples. We aim to reach a lost and dying world by sharing the GOOD NEWS of God, the ESSENCE of gospel music, through whatever genre necessary.
